16th Bulgarian Bifurcation and Complex Coronary Interventions Course

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the 16th Bulgarian Bifurcation and Complex Coronary Interventions Course, which will take place in-person from January 30 to 31, 2027, at Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda, Sofia.

Free registration underscores our ongoing commitment to the unrestricted and timely exchange of expert knowledge and best practices in the field of interventional cardiology.

The 2027 Course will focus on Vulnerable/High Risk Plaque – High Risk Patient. The event aims to follow and examine the concept. An outstanding faculty with impressive expertise in this area has been invited.

Through this topic, we aim to cover the entire spectrum of high-risk coronary lesions, comprehensively navigating from initial detection to prevention. The program will offer an in-depth exploration of the identification and assessment of the Vulnerable Plaque, utilizing both non-invasive diagnostics—such as artificial intelligence (AI)-based coronary plaque quantification and computed tomography (CT)—and intracoronary imaging modalities like OCT, IVUS, and NIRS. We will comprehensively address plaque management through both medical therapy and interventional strategies.

As always, the Course will feature a rich array of innovative lectures, live case sessions, and debates. The dedicated bifurcation session and the interactive review of interesting clinical cases will foster a highly collaborative and educational environment.

We cordially invite you to join us for the 2027 edition of the Bulgarian Bifurcation and Complex Coronary Interventions Course!
